The start of Justice of Peace came from injustice and the extreme unaddressed difficulty, in getting Access to Justice.
No one has thought of this when they studied law. No one has thought of this when they got a job at a Law Firm. Of what if no, what if no, what if no, of what if no.
When a client has been injured, and injusticed, there is no time for games. The security must be speed to help and the Law must be speed to help. Only these two can stop the bleeding.
But what we have instead, is bleeding humans, injured who are in urgent need of not only Security but also Justice.
Many cases reach the Police in time but if the job is not done the crime expands and so does the injury.
If Police is corrupted by the human traffiker, we have injustice within the law enforcement, thus no protection of life, but protection of crime within the police.
The victim is bleeding and needs strong help of strong lawyers who can fight a good fight for Justice.
And what we find is many many many relax “I” lawyers who are not willing to fight for justice.
This means, a victim or potential law firm client, will call to ask for help and be denied. After too many calls, we see the injustice expand, because those whose professional jobs is to Protect Life are humans too.
They want to relax, other want to make money, others want to have it easy in life, and thus justice calls, is unanswered.
We see in Portugal BAR, there is just 1 or 2 Criminal Lawyers registered as such. Imagine how many cases they deny. How come their humanity is no?
There is a lack of Humans who studied Law?
The Profession of Law is Service.
Any Lawyer who forgets that, is a disservice to Humanity.
The Lawyers of Hope
The Lawyers of Hope are those who are brave enough to Work for Justice. Those who are not afraid to do whatever it takes to Achieve Success as Justice Achieved. The Lawyers of Hope are not afraid of difficult cases, they Stand up for Justice.
The Lawyers of Hope are Urgent and Requested but few answer the Call.
We need to re think work.
Because if our work discourages people from picking up the phone and asking for help, fear of denial of legal justice help or just tired of wasting valuable working hours cold calling lawyers for help, or not knowing who is serious about justice and who is not, we are discouraging justice with our professions.
